Technological advancements in the last few decades in different ways such as globalization; network society; information era; And it is remembered like these, it has had enormous and undeniable effects on human societies. One of the side products of these technological developments is the mobile phone revolution and the emergence of virtual space, which has intensified and intertwined human relationships. In this regard, the main question of this article is what are the challenges of cyber space for citizenship patterns and national security. The research hypothesis is that one of the results of the process of globalization is the digitalization of lifestyles, which spreads through unconscious/conscious mass communication networks and has an impact on national identities; An effect that can jeopardize national security. The findings of the research have shown that the virtual space based on the fluid ontology of the new globalized world that promotes a kind of digital lifestyle creates a constructed identity that is fragmented and because of this fragmentation conflicts with the coherent national identity in the official discourse that threatens national security.
